PAWSAFE was born from a question that stayed with me after a personal tragedy.
When my cousin was involved in a serious accident and passed away, one of my first thoughts wasn't only about him, but also about the pets that could be waiting at home.
His family lived far away, and it made me realise how easily pets can be overlooked during an emergency. Not because people don't care, but because emergencies are overwhelming and priorities can quickly shift.
That moment inspired PAWSAFE.
I couldn't stop asking myself...
- Would anyone know they were there?
- Would someone have access to the property?
- Would they be fed, cared for and safe while family and loved ones were dealing with the shock and heartbreak?
PAWSAFE was created to give pet owners peace of mind by connecting their pets to a trusted person nearby, someone who has access to the home or yard and can step in when needed.
Because our pets depend on us too...
